Who are we?
We are the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Awareness Committee - a group initiated in 2010 comprised of advocates from many corners of Westmoreland County including - but not limited to - Program Specialists, Supports Coordinators, provider representatives, family members, and community volunteers. What do we do? We plan events to celebrate with the IDD community each year in the month of March (IDD Awarenesss Month). Promoting awareness, acceptance, and respect are some of our goals. When and where are the events? Please take a look at the schedule of this year's events for more information. All events are free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!
